N-xt NKS

We are seeing more and more potassium deficiency in crops. Potash is important for many crops. It plays an essential role in numerous processes in the plant, such as: water balance, photosynthesis, firmness and stress resistance. Deficiencies lead not only to yield loss, but also to quality loss.

N-xt NKS improves yield and quality

N-xt NKS promotes yield per hectare through higher growth rate. In addition, it has a positive impact on crop quality by:

a higher sugar content (°brix)
better color (anthocyanins and carotenes)
better skin quality (cell walls)
an improved production of sugars (starch)
due to the biological sulfur component, it also has a resistance effect on fungi
and the nitrogen form is absorbed in the optimal form

N-xt NKS effective

Potash supply via N-xt NKS foliar fertilizer is very effective. At an application rate of 3x 5 ltr/ha = 15 Liter (20 kg) total, N-xt NKS is equivalent to 100 kg patent potash per hectare. N-xt NKS thus has at least a 5x higher efficiency than common potash grain fertilizers.

In case of high potassium inputs (e.g. potato, beets, onions, carrots, field vegetables), splitting the common potassium input is recommended. It prevents counteracting mineral absorption at the beginning of the season and potash is only really needed from the second half of the growing season.

Application and Advice

N-xt NKS in potatoes has shown that the potassium in the tubers can be controlled at the right time, after tubers really start to grow through. Especially when the conditions are not optimal for the granulated potash already given. A spraying with N-xt NKs; 5 ltr/ha is then very useful.

A nice growth strategy is to alternate this with the N-xt foliar sprays; so one week 25 ltr N-xt N18 Ca Mg Mn and another week 5 ltr/ha N-xt NKS. Then repeat this 3 times!

We recommend spraying the N-xt NKS after the onions have started to bulb. A nice growing strategy is to alternate this with the N-xt Leaf sprays; so one week 20-25 ltr N-xt N11 (+spores) and another week 5 ltr/ha N-xt NKS. Then repeat this 3x!

In cereal crops, N-xt NKS has a positive effect on grain filling and sap flow in the plant. Potash regulates the transport of various nutrients and thus ensures that quality can be harvested. Spray 5 ltr/ha N-xt NKS at the stage of grain filling and beginning of ripening. Then repeat this 2-3x! Always spray with a fine drop on a dry crop.
